Winter Is Here at Ski Big Bear!

Dear Ski Big Bear Family,

Winter is here, and so is the start of the 2025–2026 ski season at Ski Big Bear! Thanks to our incredible snowmaking crew, ideal temperatures from Mother Nature, and our continued investment in our snowmaking system, we’ve been able to consistently make the snow needed to get the mountain ready for opening day.

 

Opening Weekend Details
Saturday, December 13 & Sunday, December 14
Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
(Weather permitting)

 

Open trails will be announced soon on our “Snow Conditions” page. During operating hours, you may still see our snow guns in action. We’ll continue building a strong base to ensure the best possible conditions for the weeks ahead. Your safety and enjoyment remain our top priorities, and we appreciate your understanding as we work to make this season fantastic from day one.

Purchase Tickets Online

Purchasing tickets and rental equipment online saves time and money! No need to wait in line to purchase at the mountain... simply purchase online and head straight to the ticket pickup box / rental shop! Private Lessons and “Learn to” Packages are also available for sale online!

Get Your Season Rentals & Passes Now!

The time to buy is NOW! They are selling fast, and we will sell out! Pick up equipment anytime in the Rental Shop between 9am-3pm - Thursday-Monday prior to our opening day OR on the first day you plan to ski or ride! Season Rentals provide your family the convenience of sizing equipment once and then taking it anywhere & anytime you ski/ride. Season ski rental packages provide skis with bindings, boots and poles, and season snowboard packages provide boards with bindings and boots.

Our Unlimited Season Pass gives you full access to the mountain anytime we are open with no blackout days!
